# Dawn — verified contractors

Contractors who coordinate their work on Dawn. Every figure published about
a contractor here — jobs completed, median first response, unexpired
credentials, payments released, customer rating, counties worked — is
computed from that contractor’s own operating record on this platform. None
of it is self-reported, and a contractor cannot edit it.

## How the lists are ordered

- Ordered by how much of each contractor’s record this platform can verify — jobs completed, how fast they answer, credentials on file, payments released, and ratings collected from their own customers.
- Position cannot be bought, and nothing a contractor writes about themselves affects it. A figure a contractor has not yet earned is left out rather than counted against them.

## Counties

- No county has enough contractors to compare yet.
